Ha ayudado a localizar a multitud de personas que se perdieron en la montaña. Durante 11 años Sky trabajó pata a mano como perra de búsqueda y rescate junto a su humano y guía, John Leadbetter.
Es, seguramente, la perra de búqueda que más tiempo ha desempeñado su labor en todo el Reino Unido: se retiró ¡con 14 años!

Y ahora ha recibido un muy merecido tributo por su gran labor, la Orden al Mérito animal, un galardón creado por PDSA para reconocer a los animales que muestran una devoción superlativa por sus humanos o por la sociedad en general.

Sky es una belleza de perra y es evidente que su guía y ella tienen un vínculo realmente especial, no hay más que ver cómo se emociona al hablar de ella.
